An installation titled ‘Containers’ in which the visitor’s walk-through immersive illuminated forms, referencing arches, tunnels, industrial shapes, yellow zone markings and echoes of dockside cranes.
Visitors progress through the installation as it’s multi-coloured LED lights changed colour creating differing atmospheres.
Designed specifically for the opening of the new West Quay entertainment centre in Southampton. The installation had to be on a scale that was large enough to not be lost against the stunning new centre while also intimate enough to encourage the public to engage with the sculpture and want to spend time within it’s space.
‘Containers’ was part of Southampton’s first ‘Festival of Light’ and was featured in the Daily Telegraph.
